Official GAHA Communication Channels

You will receive official communication from GAHA in the following ways:

 

Fundraising Information

GAHA families with one player are required to raise at least $350 through GAHA fundraisers each season.  Families with 2 or more players are required to raise at least $550 through GAHA fundraisers each season.

GAHA uses the DIBS portion of the website to help you track where you're at with fundraising.  

Unmet fundraising requirements will be billed to the family at the end of the season.

Gamesheet scoring tutorial videos

Gamesheet scoring is the official score keeping app used in MN hockey. You can find many videos from this link to watch to learn more about how navigate the app and score a game. Ipads are provided to use to score the games.

What equipment is needed?

  • Helmet*
  • Skates*
  • Stick*
  • Elbow Pads*
  • Shin Pads*
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Breezers
  • Hockey Socks
  • Jersey- please wear Greenway colors (no NHL or AAA jerseys at practice)

*Equipment necessary for first year mini-mites.  Other equipment is optional, at parents discretion.

Names on Helmets

Before the first practice, please tape a piece of white tape on the front of your child's helmet and write their name on it with a black sharpie.  This helps our coaches identify players.

Rinkfinder.com will help you find over 160 member arenas throughout Minnesota (and other states), including directions, facility details, related vendors and MIAMA information. Our facility schedules lists facility activities and available hours for sale at member arenas. You can now find a member rink near you to go skating for pleasure, not just hockey.
